Located on the west side of Napanee, Westdale Park Public School was built in 1958 and renovated in 1965 and again in 1972. Portables were added in 1987 and currently house the intermediate classes. Located in the heart of the community, our JK-8 school lies a short walk from an arena, curling club, fair grounds, hospital and seniors home. The school community is made up of various backgrounds with the majority of our 380 students being bused from within a twenty minute periphery. A safe arrival programme has been implemented in recent years and a "sign-in, sign-out" procedure is rigorously adhered to, helping to ensure the safety of our students. Westdale Park Public School enjoys a healthy partnership with the community, with all working hard to achieve our common goals. We are a community of life-long learners who work together respecting our differences, be they economic, cultural or physical. |
